Iran condemns US Treasury’s new sanctions

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Bahram Qassemi has denounced the latest sanctions imposed by the US Treasury against a number of foreign and Iranian companies and individuals, including the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Iran.
In a statement on Wednesday, Qassemi said the new sanctions have been imposed based on false pretexts.
“These useless, futile and ineffective sanctions will never achieve the desired outcome of their designers and creators,” he said, adding that the Americans will sooner or later become aware of the uselessness of what they think.
