Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, said Iran and Lebanon share an “inseparable” relationship, warning that continued Israeli attacks could lead Tehran to move beyond negotiations toward confrontation, during a phone call with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and head of the Iranian negotiating delegation, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, held a phone conversation with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri.

According to Al-Manar, Qalibaf said Hezbollah and the Amal Movement are defending their land and the Islamic nation, stressing that Iran and Lebanon share a deeply rooted and inseparable relationship, and that “our blood and your blood are one.”

He stated that efforts over the past two days had focused on stopping Israeli attacks, warning that if the aggression continues, Iran will not merely halt the negotiation process but will stand in confrontation with the Zionist entity.

Qalibaf added that Iran is determined to consolidate the ceasefire throughout Lebanon, particularly in the south.

He further indicated that any potential agreement to end the war between Iran and the United States would include a halt to attacks on various fronts, especially in Lebanon.

For his part, Nabih Berri expressed appreciation for Iran’s efforts aimed at stopping Israeli attacks, affirming that Lebanon will not forget Iran’s positions during this sensitive period.
