Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman, urged Bahrain to stop crackdown on its citizens.

Condemning new claims from Bahraini top officials in alleged connection between what they called a newly arrested terroristic groups and Iran, "Bahram Ghasemi", Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman said: "It’s not a surprise that Bahraini authorities are reiterating their baseless and unfounded claims and allegations and continue to accuse Islamic Republic."

Iranian top diplomat also advised Bahraini government to instead of such futile and pointless responsibility projection and accusation, to focus their efforts in addressing human right conditions of Bahraini citizens and ending waves of arrests and crackdown on religious scholars and providing freedom of expression to every level of its society.

Calling the government illusional, Ghasemi at the end, urged the country to maintain neighborly relations with Iran and cease projecting groundless allegations against its neighbors and rather put its efforts in smart targeting its internal affairs and try to wisely address its challenges.
