Rezaei: We Do Not Trust US at All

Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Major General Mohsen Rezaei said Iran has no trust in the United States and stressed that Washington must take practical steps to win its confidence.

Speaking during a meeting with Bafel Talabani, president of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Rezaei stressed the need to address the issue of terrorist groups, strengthen border security and expand economic cooperation.

He also warned about Israeli activities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and emphasized the need to enhance economic cooperation.

“We do not trust the United States at all. They must take practical steps and win our confidence,” Rezaei said.

Talabani welcomed efforts to expand economic, security and diplomatic cooperation, while stressing the need to resolve the issue of terrorist groups and strengthen security along the borders.
