Pezeshkian Returns to Tehran After UN General Assembly Visit
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has returned to Tehran after concluding his visit to New York, where he attended and addressed the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly and held talks with senior officials from several countries and international organizations.

Pezeshkian arrived in Tehran shortly after the conclusion of his visit, where he was officially welcomed by First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, Hujjat al-Islam Mohsen Qomi, the Leader’s Deputy for International Affairs, and a number of cabinet members.
During his visit, in addition to attending and addressing the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, Pezeshkian held meetings and talks with the leaders of Switzerland, Iraq, Bangladesh, Norway, Armenia, the Netherlands, Lebanon and Pakistan, as well as the President of the European Council and the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
The Iranian president also met with senior executives of US media outlets, representatives of American think tanks and a group of Iranians living in the United States.
Pezeshkian also gave interviews to Fox News, CBS and Al Jazeera, outlining the Islamic Republic of Iran’s positions on domestic, regional and international issues.
