Rezaei: US Defeated in Military and Economic Wars
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Major General Mohsen Rezaei said the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened through threats or pressure, stressing that Iran will not retreat.
Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Secretary Major General Mohsen Rezaei said predictions made by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had lacked any credibility from the outset, adding that his latest propaganda would also be short-lived.
In a post on X, Rezaei wrote: “Bessent’s delusional predictions had no credibility from the outset; his recent propaganda will have an equally short lifespan.”
Addressing the United States, Rezaei wrote: “You were defeated in the military war; you will also be defeated in the economic war.”
“The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened through threats or pressure, and Iran will not retreat,” he added.
