Iran's foreign minister wrote in a tweet that as US-made munitions rain down on innocent Palestinians, the US gives another $735M in "precision" missiles to Israel to kill more children with more precision.
Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote in this tweet: "Then US blocks the mildest possible #UNSC statement."
He added: "The world is watching as Israel & its enabler show their ugly faces."
At least 209 people, including 45 children, have been martyred in the Gaza Strip since the latest violence began a week ago. Over 5,600 Palestinians have also been wounded.
