A professor of Political Science and International Relations at the University of South Alabama has said that the 2015 Iran nuclear deal can’t be separated from the overall relations between Iran and the U.S.

Nader Entesar said in remarks to ILNA that the JCPOA can’t be analyzed in a separate framework from the U.S.-Iran relations.

He said that the U.S. sees Iran as the biggest obstacle to implementing its regional policies and Iran also views the U.S. policies as a big threat to its national security and foreign policy.

Commenting on the ongoing war in Ukraine, he said that “the Biden administration’s focus is on the Ukraine war developments now and the U.S. wants to continue this war and drag Russia into another quagmire.
