Iran’s involvement in Ukraine war doesn’t ensure our interests: Expert
Iran’s former ambassador to Russia has said that Iran entering the Ukraine war does not ensure Iran's interests anymore.
Nematollah Izadi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that every country including Russia prefers its national interest.
So this is false to think that Russia sacrifices its national interests for others’ interests, he added.

He also emphasized that the Ukraine war didn’t have a connection with the JCPOA but when this deal and the talks related to it were tied to the issue of drone sales, our national interests have been targeted.
He added that we should be demanding why Russia got us involved in the Ukraine war.
