French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is scheduled to travel to Iran and Russia within days, according to Russian news agency TASS.
'In the coming days, I will visit Moscow and Tehran upon an order from French President Emmanuel Macron, as there is an urgent need to discuss the situation in Syria,' Le Drian was quoted saying.
While in Tehran, Le Drian is to meet with the senior Iranian officials, including his Iranian counterpart, to discuss various international developments, the report said.
