The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, announced that Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi will visit Tehran on Sunday.

Iraj Masjedi announced on Friday night that the Iraqi Prime Minister will leave for Tehran on Sunday at the head of a high-level delegation consisting of seven ministers and the country's national security adviser.

According to the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad, this trip will be a one-day one and will address the development of political and economic relations between the two countries.

In a recent telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi, the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi noted that Tehran is a real partner for Baghdad and has always supported the Iraqi government and people in difficult circumstances.
