Cairo, Doha express grief over Iran flash floods
In separate messages, the governments of Egypt and Qatar, expressing sympathy for the flood victims in several provinces of Iran, expressed condolences to the Iranian president, survivors, and the Iranians.
According to Sputnik Arabic report, the Egyptian government extended heartfelt condolences to the government and the Iranians on the loss of precious lives and material damage as a result of floods in different regions of Iran.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt announced in a press release that "Ahmed Hafez", the spokesman of this ministry, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathies for the victims of the floods in different regions of Iran in a telegram message and added: "The recent floods have killed and injured a number of citizens.
The Emir of Qatar and a number of senior officials of this country also expressed their sympathy and condolences in a message to the nation and government of Iran following the death of a number of Iranian citizens in the recent flood.
