A North American studies researcher has said that Biden has tried to “keep Iran as a potential threat against Arabs and Israel.”

Responding to a question about the results of  Joe Biden’s recent visit to Israel and Saudi Arabia, Sasan Karimi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that “generally, Biden is trying to keep the Arab-Israel axis as leverage against Iran so that he can speed up the revival of the JCPOA and also follow up on the consolidation of the containment of Iran's threat in the region.”

On the other hand, in this game, Iran is being kept as a potential threat against Arabs and Israel, he said, adding that in this situation, the U.S. will benefit from selling weapons, especially to Arab countries, and also force them to make concessions in energy issues.

The strategic issue that the U.S. follows in this condition is portraying Iran as a threat to get Arab countries and Israel closer to each other, he noted.
