  • Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani has commented on the process of Iran's nuclear talks in Vienna and said the path for negotiators will not be smooth if the US continues to nurture its present illusions.

  • "The goal in Vienna Talks is to reach a final agreement. I don’t think an interim agreement is necessary,” a Belgian diplomat told ILNA.

  • Deputy for Communications of Iranian Vice President for Legal Affairs has in a letter to the United Nations General Assembly stressed that the immunity of the perpetrators behind the assassination of government officials and diplomats is posing a threat to the international peace and urged the body to issue a statement condemning those responsible for assassination of Iran's great IRGC commander Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani.

  • Iran has agreed to recommence negotiations aimed at the US rejoining and fully restoring the Iran nuclear deal (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA) in Vienna on 29 November. But it hasn’t discounted the possibility that the talks may fail, that if the US rejoins effective sanctions relief may not apply in practice, and that a future US administration might dishonour or withdraw from the agreement and reimpose sanctions.

  • "The international community has enough moral courage to negotiate the Iranian nuclear deal which was earlier became a hostage to American unilateralism," a research associate of the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI) tells ILNA.

  • Stressing the importance of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman called on the US Administration to take immediate action to lift all sanctions against Iran and third parties in order to revive the agreement.

  • Iran's permanent representative to the United Nations said the current US administration continues to violate UNSCR 2231 and JCPOA, and that the easy way for the United States to return to the Iranian nuclear deal is to fully implement its obligations under the agreement.

  • Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that lifting the sanctions is the only way for the United States to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

  • Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Iran to the United Nations Majid Takht Ravanchi said on Saturday that given the current conditions in the US and the sensitivities of اhis rivals towards Trump's possible decisions and actions, it is unlikely that he will be a source of concern in the final days of his term, especially on the issue of Iran's nuclear deal.

  • “If the sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran are not lifted by February 21, especially in the fields of finance, banking, and oil, we will definitely expel the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors from the country,” said Ahmad Amirabadi, A member of the Parliament Presiding Board, in a televised program on Saturday.
