Iran’s permanent envoy in Vienna-based international organizations said that the agency, the US, and the European troika cannot remain silent about Israel’s terrorist and sabotage acts.
In a twitter message on Thursday, he wrote "instead of sophistry & putting onus on Iran, E3/EU must abide by own commitments & demand an end to Trump's legacy of #EconomicTerrorism against Iran."
“It is significant that the Europeans did not endorse the American sanctions or move to restoration of those by the UN,” a Political science professor at Department of Political Science and International Studies told ILNA.
A professor of geopolitical studies Abdolreza Faraji-Rad said that Europeans certainly have no plans to refer Iran's issue to the UN Security Council in the near future.
