EU's foreign affairs spokeswoman, Maja Kocijancic said that Iran's nuclear deal (JCPOA) is a collective gain to protect our security and all world.

In an interview with ILNA news agency, she talked about the reason behind the bloc’s rejection of Iran’s 60-day ultimatum on JCPOA implementation and said that EU is implementing our commitments. We are committed to the Iran's deal, and we will implement the Iran nuclear deal in full coordination.

Referring to the Iran recent decision, Maja Kocijancic added that this decision made us worried, and it's a pity!

On Wednesday, Tehran announced it would resume high-level enrichment of uranium if world powers do not keep their promises under the deal. After that The European Union has rejected Iran's 60-day "ultimatum" and said in a joint statement with the foreign ministries of France, the United Kingdom, and Germany, the EU urged Iran to respect the nuclear deal, and said it regretted new US sanctions imposed on Tehran.

The EU spokeswoman went on to add that the remaining parties to the nuclear deal are studying and analyzing the agreement and their commitments to it. She stressed that the sides have voiced their commitments to the nuclear pact and want it to preserve.

"Iran's deal must be live because is considered an important agreement on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. So it's in the interest of the all world that it's going to continue," EU's foreign affairs spokeswoman said.

The Europeans have set up a complicated barter-type system to skirt direct financial transactions with Iran to evade US sanctions. The workaround, dubbed INSTEX, is not yet operational as Iran has not completed its part of the scheme.

The bloc said it plans to push ahead with "the operationalization of the special purpose vehicle 'INSTEX".
