Iran denies rumors of loan request from IMF

Central Bank of Iran has dismissed rumors about Tehran’s request for a loan from International Monetary Fund.
CBI has not requested for any loan from IMF, highlights a Saturday statement published by the body’s website.
The statement also notes that CBI Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati has canceled his trip to Washington for 2019 IMF Spring Meetings due to his ‘busy schedule’.
