Mokhber: Regional Airspace Must Be Open to All or Closed to All
Mohammad Mokhber, adviser and aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader, said on Friday that alignment with the United States in pursuing hostile policies against Iran would remain in the memory of the Iranian people, warning that if Iran is denied the ability to fly and receive airport services, no other country in the region would have access to them either.
Mohammad Mokhber, adviser and aide to Iran’s Supreme Leader, wrote on his X account following actions by some regional governments that were contrary to the principle of good-neighborliness and had, in recent days, led to disruptions to passenger flights in Iran:
“Alignment with the United States in implementing hostile policies will remain in the memory of the Iranian people. Nevertheless, our strategy in this regard is clear: airspace in the region is either open to everyone or to no one. If Iran is unable to fly and receive airport services, no country in the region will have this possibility either.”
