The US President Joe Biden's administration will reportedly lift some sanctions on Iran’s oil trade.
US is likely to extend exemption from sanctions for at least four major customers of Iran's oil as the previous waivers are getting expired in May, a London-based energy website reported.
The Trump administration is actively considering waivers on sanctions it will reimpose next month for countries that are reducing their imports of Iranian oil, a U.S. government official said on Friday.
The International Energy Agency (IEA) cautioned about global repercussions of the US anti-Iran measures for the oil market.
