Minister of Health, Treatment and Medical Education Saeed Namaki said on Saturday that despite the difficulties arising from coronavirus, Iran has been able to become a producer and, of course, exporter of modern medical equipment thanks the efforts of the educated community of young professors and technologists.
Spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Seyyed Rouhollah Latifi announced on Monday that Iran sees 15% growth in imports of medical equipment, medicines during the current Iranian year.
“The US and Europe lie about medical sanctions,” said Head of Iran Export Confederation Mohammad Lahoti.
The deputy health minister of Iran Alireza Raeesi said that the American claims that medicine, food and humanitarian aid are not subject to sanctions is “ridiculous".
