Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Abdol Naser Hemmati in a message referred to the US new sanctions against Iran, saying the economy of the country is moving forward in the trade, oil and non-oil exports path in sanction era.
Iran’s oil minister Bijan Zanganeh has said that if there is a reprieve in U.S. sanctions on the country’s oil exports, Iran can increase its output “within three days”.
"Some believe that in coming days we will face a sharp rise in the price of oil," Cole Latimer, energy analyst told ILNA News agency in an interview.
Iran’s oil exports hit a record high in the first three months of the current Iranian fiscal year (started March 21) ahead of re-imposition of new US sanctions on the country’s oil sales, Iran's government spokesman said.
