A professor at Iran`s Shahid Beheshti University believes that exiting from the FATF blacklist may not lead to the lifting of sanctions against Iran, but staying in it is definitely a kind of self-sanctioning.
The head of Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce told Afghanistan’s Ghazanfar Bank could not open a branch in Chabahar Port, as a result of Iran being put on FATF's blacklist.
The inclusion of Iran in the FATF's blacklist on February 21, 2020, has had some effect, a member of Iranian parliament Masoumeh Aghapour Alishahi told.
“More companies to gradually will join the INSTEX mechanism for trade with Iran,” Senior Economic Advisor to the European Union Mehrdad Emadi told ILNA.
