Iran, Russia discuss nuclear deal, regional issues

Iran's ambassador to Russia met with Russian deputy foreign minister to discuss the latest situation pertaining to Iran's nuclear deal.
Mahdi Sanai held talks with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergi Ryabkov in Moscow about the 2015 international treaty on Iran's nuclear program, also called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
The two officials also talked about the world affairs as well as the situation in the region.
Iran and Russia, two regional allies with huge stakes in several issues such as the war in Syria, regularly hold talks to coordinate efforts in regional cooperation.
