Iran and Italy have signed a contract in the field of engineering services for GTOP/GTPP worth $ 34 million.

The contract over gas-to-olefins plant (GTOP) and gas-to-propylene plant (GTPP) was signed between Iran’s Ardabil Petrochemical Company and Italy’s Techint Engineering and Construction.

The worth of this contract is $ 34 million and it will be implemented during an 18-month period.

“The project of GTPP is being implemented in Iran for the first time. The project is in line with the general policies of Iran to prevent crude sales and the government also supports the implementation of it,” a board member of Ardabil Petrochemical Company Hamidreza Islam said.
