Iran, Iraq agree to set up joint trade commission

Iran and Iraq reached an agreement on Sunday for setting up a joint trade commission, according to a report by Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
The agreement was signed between Iraqi Customs office director and Iran's commercial attaché in Baghdad.
The two sides discussed Iraqi customs problems, the necessity to devise mechanisms to rid Iranian commodities from illegal costs on the Iraqi border, concerns over increasing tariffs imposed on Iranian trucks crossing into the Iraqi border and the need for lifting some regulations approved by local officials of Iraqi bordering provinces to impose excessive costs on Iranian exports.
