Iran's position in OPEC changes with oil freeze plan; Zangeneh tells ILNA

Iran's Oil Minister says, oil freeze agreement helps the country's position in OPEC.

"Bijan Namdar Zangeneh", Iranian Oil Minister, in an interview with ILNA, regarding change in Iran’s position in Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries namely OPEC, told that what the ministry was able to achieve in OPEC during its tenure was partially revitalizing sharing and distribution apparatus in the organization. 

According to the top Oil Ministry official, the time before "Oil Freeze" deal, was a disaster for Iran and OPEC’s small and medium producers. 

Zangeneh emphasized that the renewed sharing apparatus which led to shared and articulated distribution of each country’s production is giving Iran proper position in the organization.
