Iran’s Trade Volume Tops $57bn

ILNA: Iran’s foreign trade volume in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year(started on March 21) exceeded $57 billion.

According to a report by the Iranian Customs Office, in the seven - month period the country’s trade volume reached $۵۷.۲۱۴ billion.

Iran in this period exported different goods worth $۲۶.۹ billion while import of goods amounted to $۳۰.۲ billion.

It shows a ۱۹.۰۶ percent rise in the country’s non - oil exports compared to the same period last year, while imports have increased by ۲۴.۷۲ percent.

China, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan and India have been the Islamic Republic’s major export destinations, respectively.

Meanwhile, Iran has mostly imported its goods from the UAE, China, South Korea, India and Turkey in the past seven months.
