“We are looking to export electricity to all neighboring countries,” Iran's Deputy Energy Minister for Electricity Homayoun Haeri told ILNA.
“U.S sanctions on Iran are worse than Oil-for-Food program,” a spokesman of the Iranian Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters' Union told.
In the first nine months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), Iran exported various goods and electricity worth $11.5 billion to Iraq, Hasan Danayifar, secretary of Iran's committee for economic relations with Iraq and Syria, said.
