The United States is prepared to hold direct talks with Iran on its nuclear program, the State Department reaffirmed Monday, after Tehran said it would consider such an option.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said here on Monday that the Americans keep asking about direct talks, but Iran has not reached a decision in this regard as yet.
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman stressed that there had been no direct talks with the US in the Austrian capital.
