A after nearly a one-month hiatus prompted by US sanctions, China is resuming its banking relations with Iran, President of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries said.
A top Indian diplomat at Tehran embassy unveiled plans for the expansion of trade and banking ties with Iran using the national currencies of the two sides instead of US dollar, saying six Iranian banks have been authorized to make investment in India.
The UK says it is trying to facilitate banking transactions with Iran now that the sanctions against the country have been removed.
Iran has called for prompt resumption of banking ties with Armenia.
