“The vessel Iran Saviz has been stationed in the Red Sea for the past few years to support Iranian commandos sent on the commercial vessel (anti-piracy) escort missions,” Tasnim reported.
The National Iranian Tanker Company confirmed on Monday that SABITI oil tanker which had been attacked in the Red Sea two weeks ago has now entered Iranian territorial waters.
National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) rejected false news and films on the continuation of oil spill from SABITI and causing environmental pollution by the vessel.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi condemned on Friday targeting the Iranian oil tanker in Red Sea, saying that the vessel is currently in stable condition.
