The first flight between the Iraqi city of Sulaimaniyah and Iran's Kish Island landed with 120 passengers on January 19, at Kish International Airport, south of Iran.
The event will bring together investment companies in the fields of tourism and hospitality, as well as relative executives and officials from the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states.
Kish Island can help attract foreign investment to Iran and launching International Exchange by the end of the year can serve as a basis for local companies' interaction with foreign counterparts.
Kish Airlines, which operates in Iran’s southern tourist hub and free trade zone of Kish Island, and Oman Holding signed an agreement on Sunday to broaden airport services cooperation.
The first Middle East-Europe Forum started its work on Friday, in Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
