Diplomats negotiating in Vienna to revive a 2015 deal that curbed the Iranian nuclear program have paused talks until next week, with officials from the United States and Europe criticizing Iran for a lack of progress.
Iran's Spokesman for Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Americans should come to Vienna to remove the deadlocks created in the previous negotiations and to lift the sanctions imposed on Iran, which they have imposed since 2015 with fake labels.
An Iranian official says the European parties to the 2015 nuclear deal have put aside plans to implement the so-called snapback mechanism which allows for the re-imposition of UN sanctions on Iran.
