Reports of a halt in Iranian trucks entering Turkey were "completely fake and mischievous," Iran's Consul-General in Erzurum, eastern Turkey, said.
"Turkey has restricted the entry of Iranian trucks to its border," the spokesman of the Islamic Republic Customs Administration (IRICA) told ILNA news agency.
Head of Iran-Turkey Joint Chamber of Commerce Mehrdad Saadat Dehghan told “Iran’s relation with Turkey is strategic and important and the country should not damage it with hasty actions over the closure of Turkey’s border.”
