“Commercial ships need no special escort in Iranian territorial waters,” said Allah Morad Afifipur, Managing Director of Hormozgan Province’s Ports and Maritime Organisation (PMO).
A PMO official announced that 14 international shipping lines have resumed activities in Iranian ports while eight more liners are eager to return to Iran.
