Head of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) has announced that 16 major projects worth over $267 million are going to be inaugurated in the country’s ports by the end of the current week.
“Commercial ships need no special escort in Iranian territorial waters,” said Allah Morad Afifipur, Managing Director of Hormozgan Province’s Ports and Maritime Organisation (PMO).
A PMO official announced that 14 international shipping lines have resumed activities in Iranian ports while eight more liners are eager to return to Iran.
