Head of the Iran-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce believes Europeans killed the time with their financial mechanism of INSTEX after the JCPOA and pull out of the U.S. from the deal, adding that time is limited for resolving banking problem and FATF issue.
Economic Counselor of the Embassy of France Mr. Alain Gouriten in the meeting with Deputy Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) for International Affairs Mohammad-Reza Karbasi emphasized the readiness of his country for restoring trade ties with Iran as soon as the condition changes, adding that French businessmen have fully prepared for the revival of their ties with their Iranian counterparts.
Iranian Ambassador and Permanent Representative to United Nations Majid Takht-Ravanchi urged the European Union to prove the efficacy of INSTEX, saying Iran should take advantage of JCPOA economic benefits.
“The justification for leaving the JCPOA and reinstating severe sanctions is the ‘maximum pressure’ policy of the US vis-à-vis Iran in order to weaken the international posture of Iran,” a Belgian diplomat told ILNA.
“Iran and China Cooperation have no effect on the prosperity of INSTEX,” a former Iranian Ambassador to China told ILNA.
