GDP growth

  • ​Head of Iran's Plan and Budget Organization Davood Manzour has said that this country is now the 19th largest economy in the world, with a gross domestic product (GDP) of $1.81 trillion based on the purchasing power parity (PPPs).

  • Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced that the country’s economic growth has been 2.2% in the first nine months of the current Iranian Year (will end on March 20, 2021) compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

  • According to a research done in 17 developed countries, 9 developing countries, 11 countries in transition, and 17 countries in Latin America and China, it was observed that the relationship between wealth and the developed economy is positively related to the level of prosperity, but as time passes, the relationship will be negative.
