Defence minister Rajnath Singh has expressed concern over the situation in the Persian Gulf and called upon countries in the region to resolve differences through dialogue based on mutual respect and sovereignty.

Japan is limited constitutionally with regard to participating in any foreign military operation in the Persian Gulf and will stick to consistent diplomatic efforts for easing the tension between the United States and Iran, Japanese Defence Minister Taro Kono said, Trend reports citing Sputnik.
