Minju Jonson, paper of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Saturday carries an article about the personality of Kim Jong Un, Supreme leader of DPRK.

How can Kim Jong Un, who is in the limelight of the world, be characterized?

Many specialists over the world put the focus of their study over this problem.

Being called a “characteristic politician” and a “people-friendly leader not confined by prestige,” by personages and commentators of many countries, Kim Jong Un is possessed of high leadership ability and excellent qualifications.

Since he took office as the leader of his country seven years ago, the DPRK has scored many successes–consolidation of state political system, rapid development in economic construction and in national defence and ensuring of world peace through bold and proactive external activities; these manifest his leadership abilities.

The international community praised him as a politician with a strong spirit of independence and high leadership ability, a leader creative and steadfast in practising.

He can be characterized, above all else, as a statesman, consistent in faith and unyielding in the stand of independence.

Such a politician never sways in his statesmanship, and demonstrates the dignity and prestige of his country in the international arena. Kim Jong Un is unshakeable in his faith in socialism, and has his own view of the methods for putting it into practice.

“Socialism is a science and so is its victory.”–this maxim is a reflection of his political creed. Through the decisions and stands the DPRK has taken in recent years in defence of its national dignity, the world has become aware of the full picture of his politics of independence.

Kim Jong Un is highly creative as well as steadfast in practising.

In creating anything, he regards the interests of the state and the convenience of the people as a matter of priority and realizes it at the earliest possible date and at the highest possible standard through remarkable organization and drive. Such structures as the Masikryong Ski Resort, Sci-Tech Complex and Munsu Water Park, which have recently been built in the country, are the embodiment of his spirit of creativity.

Even under the harsh sanctions and blockade imposed by the hostile foreign forces, he boldly planned the construction of the large-scale Ryomyong Street, and had the project completed on the highest level. In the summer of 2016, when the northern area of the country suffered from natural calamities, he had more than one thousand houses built in a little more than two months. These are, by no means, possible for everyone.

Kim Jong Un cherishes a noble sense of moral obligation.

He respects his forerunners, never forgets but bestows absolute trust on the people with whom he shares ideas, as well as his acquaintances.

People could see an impressive scene of him bowing before the war veterans on the day of victory in the Korean war (July 27), saying that for him they were his grandfathers and fathers.

Today Kim Jong Un has won international recognition as a “great, sagacious leader,” “brilliant, outstanding statesman,” “strong-willed strategist,” “talented leader” and the “world’s most influential leader in 2018.”
