Attachment to the National Flag

The photo above shows a ceremony of hoisting the national flag held in Sohung Primary School in Moranbong District, Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK. Such an event takes place at every school in the country not only on major holidays but also on every Monday morning.

Apartment Building Decorated with National Flag

In the residential quarters of 10 000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area in the DPRK’s capital city of Pyongyang inaugurated in April there is a conspicuous apartment building decorated with the national flag of the country. All the flats in the area including those in this apartment building were provided to factory and office workers free of charge.
