A senior expert on international affairs has said that purging northern Syria of terrorist groups is not very necessary and urgent action for Iran and Russia.

As it has been expected, there are disagreements between Iran, Turkey, and Russia about the future of the north of Syria and the parts that still aren’t under the control of Bashar Assad’s government, Diako Hosseini said in an exclusive interview with ILNA.

As Turks said many times before, they pushing for uprooting the Kurdish People's Defense Units (YPG) whom Turkey sees as a threat to its territorial integrity in northern Syria, he said.

“While this action is not very necessary and urgent for Iran and Russia,” he added.
