An expert on West Asia issues has said that the problem of Mr. Erdoğan is that he has sided with the terrorists.
The aims of holding the 7th Astana summit are to discuss a diplomatic and political solution to the Syria crisis, Hadi Afghahi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA.
Commenting on the reasons for the visit of the Syrian foreign minister, Faisal Mekdad, to Tehran and its relation with the summit of Astana, the expert said that the war against Syria is not in favor of Turkey and the region.
“The problem of Mr. Erdoğan is that he has sided with the terrorists,” he said, adding that if the process of Astana negotiations is positive, a direct negotiation will be held between Turkey and Syria.
