A senior expert on the U.S. has said that the window of bilateral relations between Venezuela and the U.S. has opened.

Commenting on the reasons for the U.S. diplomatic delegation to visit Venezuela, Ferydon Majlesi told ILNA that “the United States was pursuing a maximum pressure on Caracas, but now we see that a window for bilateral relations between Venezuela and the U.S. has opened.”

The turning point of these relations is Washington's greenlight to Caracas to sell oil which many see as a considerable U.S. leniency.

On the other hand, Venezuela has come to the conclusion that because of its significant amount of oil reserves, it can act in harmony with the United States and become one of the richest countries in Latin America, he noted.
