A Saudi political activist and opposition member has said that power transition whispers in Saudi Arabia are just gossips propagated by Mohammad Bin Salman to test the waters of public opinion.

Commenting on the latest reports on the possible power transition in Saudi Arabia, Abdolrahman Razi Alsohaimi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that “Mohammad Bin Salman can’t come to power in Saudi Arabia and if he will be successful to do it, his rule will not last more than a few months.”

“He will face tough days and will not be able to deal with those days; because he doesn’t have enough acumen and political experience,” he added.

He added that if Mohammad Bin Salman comes to power, it will be catastrophic for the internal situation in Saudi Arabia, the region, and the world.

“The future of the government of Saudi Arabia is ambiguous and I think this country has entered a sensitive stage and dangerous spirals,” he noted.
