Iranian Foreign Minister is leaving Tehran for Istanbul today to attend a trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Qatar, and Iran.

Mohammad Javad Zarif will also inaugurate the new building of the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul.

The visit coincides with new regional and international developments, the most prominent of which is the tendency of the Persian Gulf Arab countries to normalize relations with Israel, in addition to increasing Washington’s sanctions against Tehran.
