Chairman of Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Heshmatollah Falahatpisheh recommend that United States focus on diplomacy, instead of activating the war room.

Speaking to ILNA news agency correspondent, he recommended U.S president to fire John Bolton from his cabinet and added that the mission of people like Bolton is provoking psychological warfare. "As long as the United States does not return to its past policies, Trump should only speak to the Iranian military."

"Trump is a conservative person and he has no ideology, which is why he comes out of international treaties." Iranian Member of Parliament added that instead of activating the war room, Trump must work on diplomacy by returning to Iran's deal and lifting U.S sanctions.

He referred to use of the word "Gulf Arab" by United States national security adviser and said that Persian Gulf issue is very important for Iranians and such statements reflect the hostile position of Bolton against Iran.

Elsewhere in reaction to the downing of a US drone on Thursday, he said “US drone intrusion to the Iranian airspace is clear violation of the UN Charter and national sovereignty of the country.”

Falahatpisheh said such surveillance flights were "complementary" to recent U.S. naval deployments to the Persian Gulf region.
