Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's administration has appointed former Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, Ali Rabiei as its spokesman after former spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht stepped down.
Ali Rabiei as a social communication assistant for the president of Iran has become the spokesperson of the administration. Regarding this appointment, Rabiei is backed to the cabinet after about one year of his departure.
Earlier in May, in a Twitter message, Mohammad Bagher Nobakhkt announced that President Rouhani has accepted his resignation as Government Spokesman. Nobakht is also the head of Iran’s Management and Planning Organization.
Last year, Iran's parliament gave a no-confidence vote to then Labor Minister Ali Rabiei and sacked him as the minister.
