Iranian deputy Foreign Minister, Hossein Gharibi announced on twitter that Zarif will soon visit Syria.
“In an exclusive interview with Alforat TV before official visit of President Hassan Rouhani to Iraq, Minister Mohammad javad Zarif said that he will soon visit Syria,” Gharibi tweeted.
In another twitter message, the deputy said, “Iraq & Iran enjoy strategic relations. Our relations with Iraq are against no one. We have never tried to remove Saudi Arabia from the region. I was ready to visit Saudi Arabia 5 years ago. Whenever they're fine, they will find Iran ready for engagement.”
