Economy ministry’s performance positive, acceptable: Rouhani
President Rouhani referred to parliament’s decision to impeach Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and described the ministry’s performance acceptable.
At the session that was held on Sunday evening, President Hassan Rouhani described economy ministry’s performance in the current state of the country’s economy, which suffers from chronic issues, positive and acceptable.
He also expressed hope that with Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance attending the Majlis, representatives’ ambiguities resolve.
The Council of Ministers also discussed and approved some paragraphs of the Bill on Press and News Agencies.
Another issue that was discussed and approved was the executive bylaw of punishment measures for those who use water, power, telephone, wastewater and gas without authorisation.
The cabinet also decided to make using child safety seats in cars that carry children under 10 mandatory.
