Keeping Iran nuclear deal, as a multilateral achievement, is a test for the international community; keeping the sanctions and the nuclear deal at the same time is impossible, said the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).

If the deal doesn't provide Iran with its goals, keeping it will be impossible, said Ali-Akbar Salehi at Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI) in Oslo, Norwegian capital.

Speaking to some NUPI scholars and researchers, some foreign ministry authorities, and representatives of some other Norwegian institutions about regional and international issues, and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Salehi said that peace in contemporary international system is interwoven with the nations' progress; Iran has been concerned about that in the past four decades and the JCPOA is a fruit of such an approach.

In the 90-miute meeting, he talked about the difficult path to achieve the multilateral deal which addressed both concerns of the international powers about Iran's capabilities and the needs of Iranian people.

The vice president of Iran gave various deductions about US deceptive and inimical approach, and their attempt to create a consensus against the JCPOA, and also the opportunist moves of the Zionist regime.

He said that exclusive negotiation of the regional powers is the only way out of the region's problems.

The audience asked some questions, mostly about supporting the JCPOA, and urged Iran to show restraints against the US administrations' moves.
